    Clearing things up

I want to post this before hand. My apologizes to the Sythe moderators if this isn't allowed and you can only dispute if you've already been banned. I sold Sythe user "Derp Logic" a OSRS account in mid May for $45, the account was only used by me. I created the account, completed all quests within 2 - 3 months, and put it up for sale. The transaction went smooth, we didn't use a MM, everything went successful. Yesterday he messages me saying the account has been stolen and accuses me right away, which without a doubt he has the right since so many people do this. I however, had no hand in taking his account - I simply do not play OSRS. I have not since I sold the account to him. I took the money from the sales and went to Steam happily. However, I still don't want my name and reputation on Sythe thrown under the bus with something I had no part of. I've sold 3 accounts successfully with no problems at all and I've used gold trading services multiple times. So far the time line of this situation goes as

I sold him the account with all the details including the email account which is a Yahoo email address. He could not accept the Yahoo email account due to Yahoo security system, so he asked me to transfer the OSRS account email to his email address, I did and it went successful. Now, since the Yahoo account was never taken by him - I kept using it for junk mail, however he still had the password and information. When I found out the account was taken from him, I tried logging into my Yahoo account and the password was changed.

1- Derp Logic contacts me saying the account has been recovered, posts TWC on all my posts and creates a scammer report about me.
2- I calm him down, tell him I am 110% at your service to help you recover the account and do everything I can to help you.
3- He removes TWC posts and scammer report.
4- He says he submitted an appeal and will wait for it to be accepted or denied, if denied he'll allow me to attempt to recover the account
5- I've submitted a recovery appeal with his permission. Screenshotted everything for proof and send him the proof. Waiting for acceptance or rejected email from Jagex. *I've warned him that Jagex may find it suspicious that we live in different countries and submitted appeals for the same account within 24 hours, he told me to go ahead anyways*

I've contacted some Sythe staff to get advice, and they've told me that it's possible that he sold the account and wants me to recover it so he can resell it or use it again. I do not believe this is the case, because he is a trusted user. My conclusion is one of two things, he either had another person sharing the account with him that locked him out - or someone had access to his Skype chat logs and email or keylog.

I am posting this now, just in case my recovery submission does not work - and he blames it on me, that my side of the story is already out there.

Any updates with this? Have you or the other user been able to recover the account?

no response. not taking further action unless the user fails his ban appeals and isn't able to resolve this with his customer (at which point the customer should report him again)
