My nomination for the poll that we're definitely gonna create:
![]()
Why don't you make a poll with all of the logos that were made before, as well as this one? Hell, why not run another competition? This one just looks like shit. I understand the poll is winning in favor of keeping it, but there's still a significant amount of people who hate it.
There's way too much detail, it draws way too much attention. This is not a logo.
Also if anyone feels like they can fix the current logo to make it more acceptable to the majority then PM me and I'll send you the PSDs.
You should accept like 5 logos and cycle through them a la UIs.Also if anyone feels like they can fix the current logo to make it more acceptable to the majority then PM me and I'll send you the PSDs.

All the image links are broken/reassigned to new urls.

And the logo that won (moonglares) was the best in the voting thread below. If we were to repoll those images, it would win again.

I think It's best if we start fresh. Someone else can host it.

![]()
please yes
edit: in my opinion at least, unless there's a logo on the side, most website gfx shouldn't be any more complex than the first picture (alt's logo i think?)
logo-wise, if there is an actual logo aside from the text, should be at the side of the site's text rather than part of the text itself
![]()
simple flavored text example. something easy on the eyes is way more effective in my honest opinion because you're not trying to associate the site with something/brand it
edit2: here's an altered version of the logo:
![]()
2 shiny no
