Merchanting

So I started doing it with the GE yesterday and holy hell its super easy! I've been making easy as shit money. I have no idea how much I have actually made but I just made 75k with no effort. I'd have a better number but I have no idea what I started with and I've been selling my cut yews as well so I don't have a solid figure but I've made a profit on all like 40 or so transactions I've done.

 

Ye merching with the ge is extremely easy. The only ge acc shows this. He's made I think 20m+ on 07 using ONLY the ge with merching, and I think it's only been 2-3 weeks or so. Now he has access to higher merches so who knows where he'll be in another 2-3 weeks, wouldn't be suprised if he gets to 75m+

 

I'm starting off pretty small with stuff I know works and I'm making 100k+ a day with basically no risk and very little effort.

 

I liked merching without the ge WAY better. Made a lot more profit.

 

But that takes more effort.

I made at least 300k tonight without much effort.

 

I've been flipping as well, it's really easy with a lot of money. Each 3 offers I flip (barrows pieces/potions) make ~100-150k each which isn't much I guess but it's pretty easy to just leave in while I train mage.

What are you flipping with your cash? Ores/bars? It seems pretty hard with <1m. Also fuck yews, go do cannonballs. An inventory takes an ass load of time to make and it makes more money than chopping yews. Good to do when afk.

 

:idea: :idea: :idea: Also, if you need to sell a bunch of any item, however you acquired it, you can just buy 1 of that item and then undercut by 1gp, or 1k or whatever, and then get pretty much the best price you can for that item very easily. Flipping is nice too, but just being patient with your everyday selling and buying can save you a lot over time.

 

I'm going for 99 woodcutting on my skiller and its super afkable.

I've been flipping lots of different skilling materials. Whatever seems to have a large gap between the high and low selling points. I'm hesitant to do any combat stuff because I know jack all about it and it involves higher risk than materials people use for skilling.

I seem to make most of my money by putting in an offer and going away for 30 minutes and waiting for someone who can't be bothered to wait to come buy it all or sell it all.

Ayyy, that works well too, also a few items like that aren't too risky and you can do the same method overnight, pretty decent money while sleeping or just away

 

Ge merching is safer I think, and definitely much easier. I would say overall for people who are motivated to actually go and spam to sell your shit on w1 or whatever its actually a lot less money, cause its easier for people to keep up with prices etc.

 

I've had a rough few days. All the things I had been flipping aren't working anymore and I haven't found a very good alternative yet.

 

Agree'd. I've noticed I bought something, and sold it within a 5 sec interval of realizing i didn't need it. Made like 15k off of it. lol. I have a question how do you get that fancy username? Like its displayed different.

Yeah its pretty simple. You should just join a big merch clan if they have them on 07

 

Are there still those GE bots that undercut you by 1 gp almost instantly?

 

Maybe? I haven't really run into any problems.
