Folt Requesting Pardon for Selling Amazon Chargebacks

Hello again friends and staff of Sythe.org. I'm strongly interested in getting involved in the Sythe community again, and I would really appreciate your support if you personally feel that I deserve to be pardoned.

Description of what took place

I was banned for "Selling Amazon Chargebacks" last year in August. The ban reason was slightly conclusive because I hadn’t actually sold any chargebacks or provided the service at all. I was approached last year by a friend of mine who was providing a profitable service on another market website similar to Sythe.org. He was making good profit off of providing the service and wanted to know if I would have been interested in expanding his service to Sythe.org by advertising his service on a thread created by me. (Seeing as he wouldn’t have any established reputation or trust on this site).

This person was far from random, He was a good friend whom I trusted and spoke with on a regular basis. My friend, a graphics designer and I put together a layout which was to act as a form of proposal to the staff here at sythe. We created it to put together the idea in a clear concise manner, the majority of this layout was copied from the original layout of my friend (the service provider). I didn't fully understand what the service entailed because I didn’t want to get involved unless I knew it was allowed first. By the time the layout was made, I didn’t undergo any training or learning with related to the service at all. I hadn’t seen the service provided on Sythe before so I felt obligated to ask for permission before I invested my time into learning it in depth.

The layout raised questions because it stated that I was “well-seasoned” and “experienced” with the service. The honest reason/s why this was included was: 1. If I was given the go-ahead, I would have made sure that I personally understood the service before offering it to other Sythe users to enhance their safety and confidence in the service (no salesperson should ever sell services that they aren’t in-tune with). 2. The majority of the text on the layout was copied from the layout of the original layout of the service provider. (This layout was very rough, like I said, it was more of a proposal than anything else.) I took the proposal layout, and forwarded it to an administrator for review. While awaiting the reply, I was permanently banned not long after.

Why should you forgive me?

First and foremost, I understand the repercussions that were made in permanently banning me for this. I should have used more common sense, did more research and understood the rules of the forums more in depth before asking about something that seems so obvious to me now. I should have opened my eyes more at the situation and instinctively avoided the idea from the start. I want to assure you that I’ve got absolutely no interest in these activities at all since I’ve realized how morally wrong they are. I sincerely apologize to the staff members who supported and put faith in me last year and trusted me to serve the community well after I was pardoned. I know you were let down by my embarrassing display of stupidity in this situation especially after you had previously given me support.

As some of the community already knows; I am very passionate about everything that I do, especially the business that takes place on the runescape market. During the year 2014, I was active (unbanned) for less than 3 months. During that short time I was able to accumulate approximately 120 vouches and in total outside of Sythe I’ve accumulated 485 Vouches (playerauctions and powerbot markets) with the majority of trades where I am trusted with $100+, and others up to nearly $2,000. I’m very goal oriented, and I love networking and meeting with new people. I love helping out with the community and I was always very active in the community lounge by posting suggestions and feedback, I was always actively middle manning whenever I had the time, and I always put forth a big effort in keeping the forums clear of spam. I dearly care about this community even though I’ve been absent for an extended period of time, and I would love to have the opportunity to be involved again.
