Need Help

Hey I'm sorry I originally tried to make a post in the general section without realizing I wasn't supposed to make a thread asking a question so if a mod has already looked at it please delete the old one. But the question I need help with is how come we have to use skype when buying or selling rs3 gold when if you use skype people can get your ip through it? I'm interested in buying rs3 gold but I'm worried that something will go wrong. Can anyone give me a solid answer as to why skype is required and could something where using skype goes wrong? 0 - you can report threads with the /!\ triangle symbol in the upper right of all posts (above where it says "join date: march 2015" on your posts, for example). then you can just say "please close" or something if the thread has already appeared; if it hasn't appeared because it's in a forum like gen disc, a mod will probably filter it out so no big deal

1 - skype is useful because you can talk to people in real-time through it. using things like sythe pm are much slower and more inconvenient

2 - no one cares about getting your ip

3 - what do you think could go wrong? no one's going to ddos you while you're buying/selling gold if that's what you're worried about, especially if you're just some random buyer or seller

4 - if you really dont want to use skype, use the live chats on some of the larger goldsellers' websites (r2pleasent, arcus, bogla, divica, etc.)
