Paypal question.

So ive recently sold over 1bill all together on here via paypal to various buyers and its been over the course of this month and all transactions went perfect. Now i have money in my paypal I am very hesitant to spend it because im still worried about charge backs. Does anyone have any input on this or advise??

 

Well if you have sold it to highly trusted members you shouldn't need to worry about getting chargebacked.

 

This exactly. Its been a month too, if they were going to chargeback, it would of been done by now.

However if you're really worried, send the money to your bank account from paypal. When the money is there, link your credit card and spend money from your credit card using paypal as the payment processor. That way, in the case that someone does chargeback, it won't be charged from your credit card and instead you will receive negative balance in which you will have to pay back if ever you want to use your paypal again.

 

Bad advice. If you have a negative paypal balance, paypal WILL get the money back from you + fees + hassle + generally making your life difficult. "Avoiding" chargebacks' effects by shuffling the money around will only make it worse.

 

Yeah i realized that I know paypal being a high profile site and a business obviously will not just loose 2,000 dollars so im trying to look for some better advice then just throwing the money around

 

To who did you sell it to? If it's a trusted member, transfer it off and don't worry. If it isn't and you're not in need of it, just keep it on there.

 

some people don't care i imagine, does it come down to getting bad credit if you don't pay? :huh:

 

If you sold it to Highly trusted gold Buyers/sellers it would be all good.

 

I wouldn't think it would do any harm to your credit. They would just track you down and kill you..

If it has been in your account for like 30 days you should be good but if you just wanna play it safe then just keep it in there. If your account does go negative you can just pay it if you have the money in your bank account.

You'll get mail sent to your house until you pay it back. I guess you can get away with it if you just don't mind, but there are probably other repercussions.

 

IDK.. but this explains why people seem afraid to sell to me via paypal bank transfer.. lol I think as they said.. as long as they were trustworthy, don't worry?

 

Bank transfer or not. The money can still be chargebacked unless a claim is made and then cancelled. I think a chargeback can be made via your credit card company as well but correct me if I am wrong.
