    Skrill Question

    Hey guys,

    I'm making a Skrill account because I want to be more active in the marketplace on here and it seems that it is a more secure payment option (in regards to chargebacks). The question I have is, should I register it as a personal or business account? What's the pros and cons of it? I read somewhere that there is a difference in fees if someone could elaborate a bit more on this I would greatly appreciate it!

    Thanks in Advance,
    Braaap

    Skrill Question

    If your running a business make a business account if you are using it for personal use make a personal account. Just sound the words out personal/business. Skrill is secure you cannot charge it back which is why more gold sellers are switching toward it.

    Skrill Question

    In this case there skrill account would probably be locked if they do chargeback from the bank. Usually banks give you a limit of disputes you can fine with that bank before they close your account or place it in a flag state. So skrill chargebacks are probably not likely to happen. I didn't know they could to be honest, what I do know is to many disputes on a credit card will lead to closure of the account because I work at citibank.

    Skrill Question

    If you dont use too frequently,use personal skrill is okay.I'd suggest register as business if you use too frequently.
    bitcoin=safe for seller 100%
    moneypak=gone
    paypal mycash=bought in store with receipt is okay,but some people also use credit card to laundering money using this.low amount is ok.

    WesternUnion=good for below 2k$,small amount.

    Skrill Question

    PP my cash are not SAFE! They can be purchased with CC and if they reverse it Paypal will reverse you! Never take PP my cash from someone outside of the U.S. and try to get a pic of the receipt (paid in cash).

    WU is also not entirely safe - I heard WU can sometimes sue the receiver to recover if the sender is frauding

    Regarding WU, well once you get that cash from the shelter, there is nothing the buyer can do to get it back.

    Even so it can still be traced back to you hence furthering the dispute to local enforcement.

    Skrill Question

    Skrill is actually more safe then Paypal regarding to chargebacks because there is no chargeback "button". Other than that if the user paid with a debit card or CC and files a complaint that way your fucked with skrill. They don't let u dispute the chargeback nor even let you comment about it. They just take the money from your account and close the case. Hell they don't even send you a notification email whenever a chargeback does occur. I once was missing 175$ from my skrill account and it was only when i scrolled through 3 pages of transactions that i saw that a payment said "canceled" instead of "processed". Despite what many people still believe, Skrill is not an ultra safe, non chargebackable payment option. If u want that, use Bitcoin. As far as fees go :

    Personal -> https://www.skrill.com/en/personal/fees/

    Business -> https://www.skrill.com/ro/produse/merchant-fees/

    Pretty much wraps up everything u need to know in those 2 links.

    Skrill Question

    Yeah, when I received a 500$+ chargeback, they made my account unable to receive/send, and made me reverify my account. Also replied to their email about the chargeback information, and I'm yet to receive a response after over a month. My account still has sending disabled until they resolve the chargeback they are ignoring/putting off.

    Skrill is not fun for non-euro countries.

    Skrill Question

    Also tried calling a bunch of phone numbers I found online, but when they ask you to click 1 for english, it doesn't input any commands and you're stuck in a loop, not sure if they fixed that issue.

    Not significantly better than paypal as a platform, at least for credit cards, unless maybe you're in a European country.

    Why don't you give them a call though? That always seems to get them to move faster.
