18 month old tag reworked!

Hi,
i created this tag 18 months ago using GIMP 2.0:


I used Photoshop CS4 to rework it:


Taking into consideration the fact that most of the tag was created when i was a complete gfx amateur, what would you say about the remake?

NOTE:
I did not have the origional editable file, it's on my old laptop. So i had to use the PNG which i found.

 

Looks like all you did was add a filter and change the text to me. But then, i'm no GFX expert

 

Have to agree with dark boy it just looks like it was filtered.

 

Well it was =/ I couldn't really added too much due to working of a PNG.

I ran out of things to add after clipping mask and a few gradient maps.

 

tbh i really dont like it...i think theres alot of other things you could do with the render but this is not one of themm...idk id say take ouut vector brush on the bottem..text is too plain..and too many clipping maskes just dont fit it....
