Get a job, find new friends and a girlfriend will help you solving your issues with the computer.

Get a job, and save your money. When real life hits ya, you'll be thankful for the nest egg you already have.

In my own personal experience I was spending up to 40 hours a week and 500-2000$ a month (spending how much I had) playing video game. So after a while I took video games over my friends. Was the worst possible thing I could of done in my life. Now I'm talking with a girl and don't even think about gaming. SO find someone you think is fun and get to know them, worry about what your going to do the next time you see her/him and not about the next time your gonna do a quest or get a new level.

You don't want to quit something you have a passion for. Yea you might waste a lot of time but find something that can make you money by gaming. Like a video game designer. You also do not have to quit, just limit the amount of time you play per day. Hope this helps you out!

I realise OP posted a long time ago but this applies to many people so I'll chip in. The crux of gaming addiction, or any addicition really, is that you need something to fill the time you would otherwise spend playing games. Find a hobby that is time consuming yet does not overwhelm you mentally. Preferably something you enjoy but you can walk away from with little notice. Running, swimming, gym pop up in my mind. A great time consuming hobby is also cycling if you really get into it. That's from a sports perspective, but I'm sure you can come up with something else. Remember, keep busy and it will help considerably.

Since you spend so much time gaming, Maybe getting a full time job will help prevent you from being addicted. You won't have anymore time to login, and when you do have time you probably won't want to even play anymore. Give it a try.

I didn't think of this but it's a fantastic idea! It doesn't even matter how old you are, as long as you're over 15 you should be able to get a time consuming job. It really should help a lot. Again, great idea!
