help please!

Recently I was selling fake shoes and said they were authentic and PayPal noticed many transactions and limited my account, so I called them and said my friends sent me the money and he asked why did 2 people leave in the notes shoes size 11 and I said I don't know and he told me he's going to contact the buyers and stuff. If PayPal finds out what can happen? Do I have to pay All that money back, could I go to jail or nothing at all? By the way I wasn't selling on eBay

 

I don't think they're going to send you to prison, probably a refund at the most.

 

It depends on how you were selling it. I'm not sure Paypal can do anything about it if you were selling fake shoes. Who is "he" that's going to contact the buyers? If you were false advertising and selling a fake product I'm pretty sure it's punishable, but really you have to be more specific as to where this occurred, who you are selling to, who said what, etc..

I personally wouldn't worry about it though. If they limited your Paypal that probably means you didn't have a credit card on it and they saw a lot of transactions so it has nothing to do with the fake shoes.

 

To be honest i hope you get in-trouble if you're one of those kids who try to sell fake sneakers as real or authentic. I'm into sneakers my self and its annoying as fuck when you have to deal with idiots like that,especially when its hard earned money. Not trying to be a dick but you deserve what ever punishment you're given.

 

1. You're an asshole and I believe this could/does qualify as scamming.
2. If other buyers are aware, it's quite possible they will charge back and you will then be negative in PayPal and have to payback the money. You won't end up in jail, you're just an asshole and cops will likely never even be informed.

Well they wont send you to prison, but you'll definitely have to pay that money back, otherwise they'll take it from your account.

Lol yeah wasn't very smart to post this here. You will get your account locked more than likely if you don't pay back the buyers.

 

Just like everyone else said .-. you should refund the money and apologize. Not much else you can do. You described the product differently then what you were giving them. Dick move mate.

 

I'm pretty sure I read a forum about this and they were pointing out that you were selling fake shoes which is kinda against the rules. Why were you selling fake shoes?

Because shoes have value? Decent brand shoes cost 100 + bucks, if you sell fake ones which you bought for 20 bucks and sell for 80 it's pure profit...

 

So how exactly are you shocked that you followed none of Paypal's guidelines, then blatantly lied to them, and they limited your account?
