Close this. Due to huge inactivity and lack of participation, I need to re-asses my options and go back to the drawing board --- figure out a different way to distribute the prize (likely smaller, more exclusive tournaments). The majority of people that have participated in this botched attempt have agreed that this would be the best course of action at this time, so I regretfully ask that this thread gets closed.

The 1 billion will be given out somehow, but not this way. Not a league where next to nobody can or will participate. To people that have been active, once again, I am sorry. But the people that didn't even speak to me about it won't be allowed in later tournaments, I probably won't even have a sign-up thread, just invite people who I know will participate / who tried to participate in this (doesn't necessarily mean you had to have played a game, communication would have been enough so people like Lean, Jack, Dave, Stopsign, etc etc would be allowed to play).

But this is officially being nuked. This format is too long, cumbersome, and probably in the worst part of the year ( I strongly believe this would have worked in the Summer).
