Marketers: Do you vid your trades?

tl;dr version

earlier, some guy buys a bond from me
he declines first trade, accepts our second trade
doesn't know how to find inventory in rs3

he thinks I scammed him because he just sees declined trade
I went afk to shower
he files report on osbot

Come back from afk *oshit.jpg*
talk to him on skype
tell him to log in, check his invent
bond is there!

He could have made me pay him an extra bond, because he had proof and I didn't.
Which makes me wonder... what if one of my customers did this intentionally when buying 100m+ from me?
to try and get an extra 100m out of me.

So, do you marketers vid/screenshot all of your trades just in case?

 

I've not traded in a couple months but when I did sell membership I made a video of everything that had something to do with the trade. You're never too safe, right?

 

i tend to screenshot everything, vidding would take up too much space

 

We use Swiftkit to take multiple screenshots of every trade @ Dragon Dyce, it's extremely useful as proof in disputes and so you don't make mistakes. Videos take up a LOT of room, especially when you consider how long it takes to do a Sythe trade.

 

This, swiftkit or gadwin print studios. You just press prntscrn and it captures your whole screen and saves it, you can take multiple at a time.

 

I'm on a mac but I Screenflow everything and keep it for about 3 months before deleting. Things that are vouched for and can't be disputed ("swapped 1m for 8m ty!") I just deleted. Probably have 50gb in vids created since June if that's of any use for ya lol.

 

I used to trade some Runescape accounts in other forums, and I always get my screen videoed all the time until the trade has been traded.

 

We used to have to vid everything. It did take up so much room aha, especially on an 8 hour shift.

 

Not recently, but I'll start doing it again.

 

It's really easy to record good vids with OBS.

For large/important trades, I'd definitely vid.

For smaller/standard trades, taking screenshots of important stuff in case of a scam should be a habit for everyone.

When I was in the market, I think I videoed a trade once (for PA). Was a high volume trade however.

 

No, but I screenshot everything.

 

I only "vid/record" 100m+ trades, everything below that only screenshots. Never doing a trade without screenies though

 

Even though screenshots are much more efficient, I still vid EVERYTHING lol, regardless of how small it is. As soon as I get the vouch, or a chat message confirming everything went smoothly, I delete the file.

 

On new people that I haven't traded with I screenshot, but after a few times, I don't typically screenshot.

 

When I used to sell gold etc, I used to video everything and screenshot, this was a few years a go now.

 

This is what I do, except I keep it for about a day and screenshot the vouch. Videos take up far too much room as people stated above but I might look into swiftkit because recording also lags me a lotttttttt.

I use pu.ush, but if swiftkit is one button instead of having to screenshot a certain section it'll be much easier.
