I'd say any where from 3-5k, and probably closer to 5k. Just bring as much as you can afford, as it would suck to run out in the middle of the waves.

[Tyler]

with that low of a ranged level id say ATLEAST 4k +

[Puhastusproff]

It's better if you'd just get an ava. 4k rune arrows costs alot.

[X4NRSA]

4k is enough.

[Otoya Takechi]

+5K IMO, those 360's are going to be a pain.

[KL0LL0K9LOL]

I did my cape with 50 range, 43 prayer and took 6.5k rune arrows.

[KL0LL0K9LOL]

did you use poverty gear or robin/fury/regen/archers etc?

thinking of trying it with 40 and c'bow.

I used chaps > monk robe > mitre > cloak > boots of lightness > glory

[im awsome i know]

The quest is piss easy, you could probably pay someone on here barley anything to do it for you. Get an Ava!

[Sspud]

Congrats on the cape

[Kiln]

I would bring 5,000 to be safe, and then buy more if you don't make it after the first attempt.

[Dyfect]

Just buy as many as you can, better safe then sorry. Who's to say you can't just sell whatever you don't use? Don't bring any less than 5000 because you'll be really pissed off when Jad's half dead and you're ammo-less.
Play it safe sir.
