Ok, "The Best" was probably not the best term to use there. It would be *better* if people used Sythe chat instead of Skype to do trades, because it would eliminate a lot of imposters, and Sythe accounts offer more security than Skype accounts. Since most of the people who are impostered are gold sellers on multiple sites, they use Skype instead of Sythe chat, and won't have any reason to stop using Skype and only use Sythe chat. I'm also assuming that everything on Sythe chat is logged, which would make it easier to use as evidence in scam reports.

The whole Skype match thing would be somewhat useful, except high profile gold sellers are getting their Skypes hacked on a weekly basis, and the kind of people who fall for Skype imposters in the first place don't even know what a Skype ID is, which is why they get scammed. Having a search tool for Skype IDs won't help them.

Using a Sythe chat would be the right choice and I've thought that for years but it has never worked. Maybe I'm just being pessimistic. At the moment Sythechat is certainly not good enough to use as a trading platform but if it was it would be much better than a Skype verifier.

I've obviously let Richard know I'm willing to do work on it but it doesn't seem like he wants to do that.
