Browns would do better to sit him for the 1st year. In Hoyer they have a serviceable starter who put up decent numbers last year pre-injury.

The steelers are a shadow of their former defensive glory so they won't be THAT tough but it looks like they are trying to get back to their previous form.

Steelers really picked it up at the end of the season last year though. I expect them to come out a lot hungrier not to mention they're going to want to break Johnny Manziel's spirits immediately assuming they do start him next year.

Off Topic to that response: I'm tired of hearing so much about Michael Sam already.

Welcome to Johnny Manziel & Michael Sam draft party (Feat. NFL Draft)

Do you not think they will sit him? Historically it's been proven to be better for them. With that being said, despite their new management making a lot of good decisions so far they might goof with this one.

Hmm I'm not sure man. Who even started for them last year? Was it Weeden again? If it was him, yeah start him..cuz Weeden is atrocious.

Who do you think will be the best QB out of the draft? The Jaguars might have even worse luck than the Browns, so if Bortles was another Gabbert I wouldn't be surprised lol.

Your Patriots had a strong draft though.

    NFL Draft

Weeden isn't with the Browns anymore lol. Hoyer is an Ex-Patriots QB who emerged as the starter prior to getting injured in his 3rd game starting. The only other decent QB (asides from manziel) they have on the roster currently is Vince Young but I think Hoyer beats him out.

I don't know. I don't really believe any of the predictions or make any of my own due to how difficult it actually is. QB would have to be one of, if not the most difficult position to play in american football and as a result many QBs fall by the way side regardless of their college production as they are unable to keep up with the faster, more ruthless pace of the NFL. In fact, I refrain from looking into the draft prospects much at all asides from hearsay etc since odds are your team won't end up with them and you can sink so much time into researching each player for naught.

Weeden started a good amount of games last year though ( i went back and checked). So that would open up the door even more to Manziel possibly getting the nod to start immediately. Especially since Vince Young usually ends up getting himself cut before the season even starts nowadays. He is completely washed up.

Yeah he did prior to him being beat out by Hoyer who was injured on his 3rd game unfortunately. This could change obviously but here it is coming from the head coach himself:

Ah ok cool so that's why Weeden went back in later in the season. Thanks for that info.

    Hoyer was doing well. Interesting.
