Cant Play RS Classic on Mac?

Hey Sythe, I am trying to log into my old RS Classic account off my girlfriends laptop. I currently don't have my own computer. When i try i get a message saying my Firewall blocks the application even though i am prompted to 'trust' the website and so on. Any have any idea what is going on? I am computer illiterate so say the least.

Your Java's fine. Try reading the error message It's the firewall. You have to go into your firewall settings and add it as an exception.

 

Turns out i didnt even have a firewall on? I just turned it on and am getting the same messages. I'll manually turn it off and see what happens.

EDIT: I have turned off the firewall, manually turned it back on blahblah added Safari and Firefox to the list of applications to allow incoming connections and still it gives me this bullshit messages.

On windows it's the most time the firewall, but you can contact jagex or try to post in the runescape tech forum about this problem.

 

i use mac and works fine for me`? check java?

 

Look into ignoring security certificates, I believe it's usually just a browser setting. Could also try Chrome.

 

No issues here, also playing on Mac.

You might hide your girls name tho, you know, this is the internet
