How about if Richard let me fund an IRC server!!!! I could get people on it. I know i could

 

SytheChat had a point, but Richard gave up on it. I'd still like to see it be worked on, though.

@SuF: Problem with the idea though, is there'd have to be members who know everything, still, in the chat helping all the time. Most people won't waste their time with it.

I would, too. Time zones would have to be perfect, though. We should probably wait to see if Matthew/Richard has any plan to move forward with this, though.

I was trying to have a conversation with Dave on SC the other night and we kept getting booted off. Please make that the first priority of things to fix.

 

Suf if you have the knowledge/are capable of making the necessary changes to SytheChat/fixing it's bugs/issues you might want to try to get in contact with Richard directly and propose the idea to him.

As Zeus posted above, throughout a ten minute conversation I was booted about 12 times, it was frustrating to say the least.

 

I've already submitted code to him twice. Second patch never got merged. I've got no idea wtf the kicking thing off thing is doing. I bet its a sever side thing.

 

The ability to dice on chat would be sick as fk!

Bump! Like SuF suggested before, we need more mods in SC. Just got on today and it's completely spammed.


Though I'm not sure if mods can delete a certain message or if they have to clear the whole chat, which I'm assuming is the latter.

Going to deny this for the time being, Xen is on the way, and hopefully after that Sythechat will be on the list of things to-do.
