07 or RS3?

I'd like to get personal opinions on this topic, I am looking to come back to the runescape community. I am an old runescape player.

I love the nostalgia and overall gameplay of classic plus it is run extremely well as I have seen as an outsider. I have a completionist cape account on RS3 though but is it worth starting over again? I mean I would want to purchase a great starting 07 account but you get my drift.

I am wondering, most definitely, about the future of both games. With legacy coming how much will it destroy 07? because if I commit to 07 I want to have it around with a great playerbase. By the Way, I calculated the current population of RS3 Mems worlds as of right now there are 18.5k people on 07 and only 29.3k on rs3 mems worlds. I added all the worlds together cause I am that big of a nerd.

so..Overall what does the future hold for these two diverse servers?

If you don't have close friends or a clan in RS3, you don't have any sense of community. Just my input.

In 2007, if you go to high population areas you can always find someone to interact with

i personally play both, but prefer 2007 simply because its the game ive always loved.

i do however sometimes play RS3 to make gp to transfer/do PoP because i still want tetsu and crap one day

I grew up loving 07 scape and haven't been able to get into the new EOC and legacy Rs they have today. It sure is surprising and promising that the 07 servers have nearly same amount of players as rs3.

Coming from an 07 player's opinion I think the community is doing great. Many people as poster above stated to interact with. I just don't know how anyone would play EOC scape or legacy or whatever. If you're going to play a game like that why not play WOW, or DOTA2/LOL... I mean so many more options than a second rate wanna be game imho.
