Dicing suggestion

Hey there, this is a suggestion for the dicing thread on the donor lounge or whenever some calls a wager my idea is that there should be a rule of your going to void a bet/wager you have quote it and then void it instead of editing your post and saying void because this is a possible way to scam

For example

Someone may place a wager eg 20$ 1-1000 highest wins he leaves it for a few hours a person wanting to call it may call it then roll but rolls badly so he edits his post and says void claiming that it was a bet not him calling the wager and no one thinks anything off it

So I think you shouldn't be able to edit your wager to void it you need to quote and then void it to avoid any sort of scam in dicing

 

Any form of editing posts in any of the dice threads is already an offence.
Ensuring that this rule is followed however isn't really done right now.

I'd say report the users to moderators, and let them decide what's to be done with them.

 

No I'm pretty sure that only editing the rolls is a offence not the actual wagers that you post

 

IF that's true it'd not make sense at all since any post could contain a dice roll, but be removed later to make it look like a void post.

 

I'd support this, not that I use that thread for anything. I wonder if editing privileges can be removed for all people on one specific thread in a forum.
So tl;dr:
-To accept a bet, you must quote and roll.
-To remove one of your offers, you must quote and void.
-Editing (if it's possible) is an offense.

 

There is no reason why anyone should be editing their posts in that thread in the first place. It already states in the OP that any editing or deleting of posts will lead to an automatic forfeit.

It's not that hard - if you mess up on the roll and forget to add a extra bracket, make a new post and roll again. If you want to cancel/make a wager void, quote the post in which you wagered and state that you no longer wish to bet (assuming no one's rolled against you yet). If you do edit, you're held liable and either have to pay up or take a ban. This is how it's always been.

 

Obviously editing anything would be mad sketch, make another post on the diving thread.

If it's stated in the OP that edit = pay up or ban then that's what happens. I don't get what it is that you're suggesting.

yes i did do this but it wasnt callling it thats why im bringing it up you can even ask heads i was on ts at the same time he put it up so i would have to ask him to call it

 

youre lucky that heads dont want the 50 bucks

 

K basically it is already a rule, just PM a global like Frenzy if it happens again
