Work computer doesn't play youtube videos :ccccccc

I need my computer to be operational now. I'm tired of not having my own computer.

I ordered my computer parts on wednesday, but my card is denied because I have a fucking 1K spending limit on my debit card. MY FUCKING DEBIT CARD. It's my money, why can't I spend my money?

Whatever. I have my mother back in my home town draw out the 1200 required and put it on her card, but the banks are closed so she has to do it thursday. Fine. Whatever. One more day.

Fedex says they'll ship on saturdays, so two-day shipping (that I got for free, thx newegg), but only if you pay a premium, which they didn't tell me until I called saturday evening.

Great. I'll have to wait another two days for it to fucking ship. Good thing they deliver on MLK day. So I got it Monday, and that was probably the single bit of good luck I've had in this entire scenario. I get home from work RIGHT as the fedex guy is knocking at my door.

I build it, all goes well, annoyed that the little aluminum louvered blocks on the motherboard near the CPU makes it so I can't put in my larger CPU heatsink/fan. Whatever. I'll stick with what intel sent me in the box. Works well enough, and I don't have to mess with thermal paste since it's already applied to the stock heatsink.

Finished the build, closed up the case, plugged in the PSU

No power. Motherboard is dead or short circuiting.

Tear everything out, bench test each component, motherboard boots up. RAM works, graphics work, everything seems fine.

Build it again, boots up. PCIe isn't seated in the graphics card. Open it back up, reseat the PCIe and SLI power cords.

Run it.

Harddrive is dead. No replacement harddrive. Another three days or more without a computer. fml

 

Wow, that sucks.

 

But good news, a computer repair shop in town had ONE 1TB harddrive in stock. It was 75 fucking dollars, but I don't even give a fuck. I never filled my other 1TB harddrive on my laptop after three years, and I have my 1TB external harddrive for all my movies 'n shit, so no fucks given. My computer is running, and it's sexual.

 

I take it that your computer is softly moaning and you just jizzed in your pants.
