Knowing people > vouches > ranks. If I don't know them, vouches >> ranks. Avoid people acting suspiciously and people offering deals that are too good to be true. Additionally, no trusted member will ever refuse to send you a confirmation pm with proper information in it. If you have more questions, feel free to ask.

decent post count. 30+ vouches, donor or not. also, if they've recently been active. i wouldn't trust large paypal payments or too much trust of someone with 30+ vouches, but it's fair enough if they are active to accept 40-50 paypal payments imo. someone very trusted, would be 100+ vouches. even then, i may use a middleman because you NEVER know.

some people will come back after a year and realize they have a trusted rep. and decide to scam someone because they no longer use sythe. or, if it's not actually them, some peoples accounts get hacked later on and this almost happened to me, when his last vouch was like 9 months ago and it skepped me out and turned out, he was banned 1-2 days later.

I go off a few personal criteria that I use to trust somebody. In order, it is:

    1. Vouches
    2. Their personality
    3. ranks
    4. post count.

I should add post count is completely irrelevant for me to deem you trustworthy. I've seen tons of people with 6k+ post count banned. It should be noted that the only person I trust, since I offer fire capes, Is myself, so I always make people go first to me. I even made people with 1k post counts and vouches go first =s

yes, post count technically has nothing to do with it. but post count along with other things does look good together. i definitely wouldn't trust someone with 5k post count, but no vouches. if they have 50 vouches and 50 post count, i would definitely think 5k post count and 50 vouches looks better. but definitely would never base it off post count to trust someone. nor their join date.

I normally don't really trust much , I do background google check of their Skype, check vouches , if they have vouches from a Admin + ill go first no problem , other than that vouches can be false from newcomers , etc , members being paid , so I don't really look at vouches.

How long they have been a member of the site... Longer means they have stood of the time of being banned which in turn means they are not a scammer.

Activity on forums, vouches, donator, and join date are things I consider. A lot can be said about a member sometimes in just the way they post around the forum and looking through their recent posts can sometimes give you an idea of the kind of person you're dealing with.

Adults who have real Paypals smh. Decent join date with good stats like post count, vouches (quality not quantity), maybe accolades like bond holder/fun ranks/appointed verifier of sorts.

What is a trusted member in your eyes?

If I haven't personally done business with them in the past, I look at the credibility of the user's vouches (specifically, the higher quantity of successful high value trades that person has, the more I'd consider them to be somewhat trustworthy for smaller trades.)

I disregard post count and join date as a determining factor for being considered trustworthy, but I do very often look through the post history to give myself a mental note of the type of person I believe I'm doing/not doing business with.

What is a trusted member in your eyes?

Personal experience, or vouches. If it's a huge trade then I would like them to have vouches+rank+donor etc just to be sure.
