Because of the routine the Blockchain uses to *create* actual Bitcoin addresses, I have been led to believe that one may actually be able to generate a valid Bitcoin address that is already in existence. You can relate this to credit card fraud, but without the malicious intent. The thing about replicating an address what makes addresses themselves. The Blockchain is so large and detailed so that if this was actually possible, the chances for it actually happening, would be infinitely small.

Because the client creates the wallet identifier, JSON data, JSON payload, and all the private keys without server input to check for a duplicate, this allows for a possible duplicate in the first place.
