New Ranks could create possible problems?

Anyone else feel that the new ranks being giving out "non-market user" "do not trade," give a unfair level of trust to people. Now people who scammed and are banned can make the excuse "I was banned for this reason" see that's why my profile doesn't say "non-market user/Do not trade" and only has the "banned" tag. That will now convince 100% of people to go ahead and do the trade with them because after all nothing on the profile says "do not trade" like it does on the un-banned members.


Trust me I'm an expert when it comes to these things and know that now the people who didn't scam and were just annoying are labeled as "do not trade with" and are "un-banned" while those that did are only labeled with "banned" this is going to cause massive confusion among new members causing a downfall.

That is why I've come up with the idea of just getting rid of the marketplace threads all together. Come on now I know most might not like this idea at first but give me a second to explain and really think this through.

First, removing all marketplace cuts back on all the scams and gives people more time on making the other threads "active". We can have more time to focus and grow in areas lacking. After all we all know "runescape" is dying and I've heard people say "it's only a matter of time until the gold selling threads are down to 1 page" so why not just scrap it altogether. It's clear to see that the reason people sign up and donate money aren't because they are interested in using a safe and secure marketplace for the game they love. It's because they love interaction with random strangers over the internet they have never met and are never going to meet.

After a while we can slowly start picking off all threads in general but the spam forums with little to no rules. After all we know rules are bad and only cause people to get banned? We can't blame the people for what they do either, as it's clearly the system in place that's fucked and not them. Finally, we can be left with our new and improved upgraded version of the website with just one massive section for everyone to interact and have as much fun as possible. We won't ever have to worry about banning people because no rules will be broken? At the end of the day that's all anyone ever signed up for and wanted was to have fun !
