It is sketch that he refused to usd screenshare on skype. But do you really think hes going around scamming new users for 2.5m each?

I'm not familiar with Skype whatsoever, I simply use it as a means of chatting and communicating with other parties. With the slew of Teamviewer scams that were rampant during 2011 and the loopholes that people find I personally didn't feel comfortable screensharing with someone whom I didn't trust.

Anyways, ended up buying an upgrade from the dude whose topic I posted in. Took less than 5 minutes and no screensharing necessary lol.

all I'm saying is I can see where the guy is coming from(since he knew about Skype screensharing and how he couldn't affect your screen at all if you used that)

 

I'll have to look into skype screensharing and educate myself on it more before I decide to use it. I've been using TeamViewer to this day for OMM'ing with no problems whatsoever and I was unsure of whether or not skype screenshare allowed the other party control of the mouse.

Didn't see a reason for him to get salty, jump to conclusions, and file a scam report. I'm sure I'm not the only to have ever turned down a screensharing request when purchasing upgrades. Needless to say I did offer to use another OMM if he so pleased.

As a precaution, during upgrade purchases I video-record the entire transaction in the off-chance that the code they sent me was invalid. Bought & sold over 100 upgrades combined and have never once had a problem.
