Past 2 weeks I have been involved in a train up and testing for something called EIB, Expert infantryman badge. It essentially is a test of 40 or so different tasks involved with being an infantryman.

The train up period I was working from 4 in the morning until 8 at night. We are in test week now. My unit started with 138 in the testing phase. All but 5 of us have failed out. I have 1 more day of testing (today) followed by a 12 mile ruck march. So I need to be on my shit today basically.

basically true.

For anyone who cares, I made it through the last day of testing. Last thing to do is a 12 mile ruck march in the morning; 45lbs ruck and must be done in 3 hours.
