Moneybookers?

Is moneybookers chargeback free? And what are their fee's.

No, there aren't chargebacks with Moneybookers.

Fee's vary per country, there is a fee calculator you can browse through online.

 

never had any troubles with moneybookers. if people do chargeback I'm pretty sure its moneybookers that pays not you.

 

I've seen some people with negative balance? is this because of stolen paypal and not chargebacks?

I know how to avoid stolen payments.

 

The only time chargebacks occur is if the product is not delivered or the card the consumer used was stolen, in which case they won't deduct it from you as long as you provided a good/service.

 

Moneybookers does have chargebacks and Moneybookers will deduct it from your balance/bank if chargeback occurs. Chargebacks are issued by credit card providers not Moneybookers/PayPal themselves.

Chargebacks are always possible because their is always a chance of a stolen card or what not. Explaining the negative balance is simple. One must have been put into a reserve balance because they weren't able to provide good service or there was a complain by a customer(s). If you are a registered business with MB and have teamed up with them by filling out a lot of forms then they'll cover ALL the CB's up to a point otherwise it's straight out your balance and/or bank.

Exactly thats called a merchant, moneybookers will cover the chargebacks if your a merchant, 100% know this for sure. But MB are quite strict with chargebacks.

 

Chargebacks still exist with moneybookers, but only to an extend. Crying to them won't do anything, which it will with PayPal. The only way you can get chargedback with MB is if the credit card company does it themselves.

 

They only offer this to certain businesses, not all and for 7% fee. I'm 100% sure they won't offer chargeback protection for selling rs gold since it's high risk.

 

Looks like i'm going to steer clear of MB, nearly impossible to sell wow gold without it though.

 

When a chargeback initated on MB,they deduct the money from you account immediately and give it to buyer . Paypal at least hold the payment first and do an investigation. MB doesn't even do that .

If you E-mail them they'll ask for your website URL in order to make you an offer on protection against chargebacks. I've some experience with their offer, I do not know what they would do.

So all together the payment is first screened by their anti-fraud system which only makes it able to make a fraudulent payment once from a stolen cc on all mb accepted website. Chance this will be you is close to zero.

If there's still a chargeback after this, you'll have to pay a firm amount no matter what the chargeback amount is.

If you do business on large scale and have many chargebacks from MB I suggest you E-mail them for a solution which matches your situation.

moneybookers does have chargebacks however I'd just advise you to keep selling through P.A safest way.

 

VERY TRUE, the buyer can still make an unauthorized payment claim, so its as risky as paypal.
