In my school, seniors date freshmen all the time. It's really not weird when you're both in the same type of school. (Highschool)

The much-celebrated Muhammad married a nine year old girl when he was in his fifties, so two years doesn't seem like much when going by that scale.

A bit more seriously, unless you feel uncomfortable with her because of the age difference, go for it. A junior dating a freshman isn't uncommon, and if you're friends make fun of you for it, just laugh it off.

 

So just because it feels comfortable and fine for a 25 year old to have sex with a 15 year old, it's good? I get what you might be trying to say, but simply because one or the other feels okay about it, doesn't necessarily mean it is right or even good for them. Good isn't subjective, it's not just whatever someone wants it to be.

Back on topic, I do agree that it is perfectly fine. I have many friends who were 2 years older/younger than their bf/gf, especially in high school. I remember there were several juniors going out with freshmen that I was friends with back in high school. An 18 year old going out with a 13 year old, yeah, might be a little weird and uncomfortable, but 16 and 14? Perfectly acceptable.

 

Since you're not 18, it's really not a big deal.

 

That's nothing man. I'm born in 92, one of my exes is 95, as well as the girl I'm into now. As long as you're genuinely into the person and not trying to just take advantage of their age (some younger girls make themselves easy for older guys) then it's okay..
