Looking for a job

Well...i'm on my way to getting into the competitive call of duty side of things, and can't really work my job, and still be able to play call of duty, practice/scrim with my team...

I have experience working as a live chat agent, and i'm very good with people/communicating.

 

I know its not really a job but during MW3 times I would make an easy $200 a week by doing GB ( game battles ) and FraggedNation Tourneys.

 

Are you EU? IF so, you play PS3 or XBOX? I did some competitive gaming about 6 months ago and made a quick 500$

 

Well it can be if we start winning enough, but if i want to persue my gaming career i can't be working 4-12 and 5-12 shifts at a fast food restaurant.

No i live in the US, and we would be competing in iCn tournaments, and if we get good enough we can start winning some reasonable cash....but there are some pretty amazing teams that play iCn so i'll have to take as much time of my day to practice with my team as i can, and with my current work schedule i can't do that.

 

Why don't you use the method in your signature ? $50 an hour is more than perfect.

 

I got about 53 MOABS in MW3, played quite a bit on the xbox, but quit after 5-6 months, only played about 3 times since then lol...it was fun, I probably could've done some Gamebattles but the Lag Compensation garbage really caused me to quit...
It took me like 2 months to get a single Moab, then I got like 3 a day everytime I played lol..that was fun

Hate to dissapoint you but your wasting your time playing competitively. It is fun no doubt as I was semi-pro in cod4 and played in some of the mlg tourneys. I had a blast and even scrimmaged team fear/ some of envy (stainville, bigtymer at the time). Its nearly impossible to get to the top 1-2 teams (which are the only teams that make any money). Your better off getting a real job and putting those ambitions of making a living playing video games behind you.

 

maybe he's right i mean in my opinion yeah it's good money but in the other side it's not stablized, there are moments you could bring no money at all. you're better off getting a job that pays you a stable wage

 

not sure where i stated i wanted to be top 1-2 teams, and you don't need to be a top team to make money. The more you practice the better you get.
