There are tons of stupid laws out there, so if you could get rid of/alter one law which law would it be?

Any law that is for people who are too stupid to take care of themselves, for example, my state enforces the law that you have to wear your seatbelt.

 

Speeding is an acceptable law, it's to stop people before it's too late.
Not everyone has common sense and there are so many idiots out there, the law is there for an obvious reason it's not there just to "be there."

I honestly can't think of one law I'd get rid of because they all seem to play a part in society.

Legalize and institutionalize prostitution.
Remove bankruptcy. ( legally stealing imo )
Remove affirmative action.

Most laws are enacted so that civilization can continue. The people talking about "speeding" in this thread are solipsistic beyond belief.

-another driver causing your accident

This isn't true, less people are killed on the Autobahn in Germany doing high speeds then are killed on U.S roads. Explain that one.

No. 2nd amendment should stay the way it is. Whenever there isn't a threat of an up rise, then more harsh decisions will be made.

But you and divine god got it down pretty well. I also think seat belts should be a choice since it only endangers yourself.

Not necessarily, as the facts quite clearly prove less people are killed on the autobahn where their is no speed limit (people doing in excess of 200km/hr) compared with roads with speed limits i.e highways in the US.
