New phone

My upgrade is May 1st (Wednesday) and was wondering what phone to get.

My choices are the GS4, HTC One, the Iphone 5, and Note 2.

What should I get?

GS 4 and the One are the new flagship phones while the I5 and Note 2 have been out a while.

 

GS 4 and the HTC 1 are both great choices. I'd choose one of them. Just look at reviews online and compare their specs.

 

S4 or i phone 5

 

They have nearly identical stats (matches the size of the phone), but their flaws are the reasons why I'm going back and forth.

 

HTC one or S4, for me the HTC one would be the better choice. Although the S4 isn't a bad bet either. Both of those phones wipe the floor with the iphone 5.

 

If you decide to go with Apple, don't get the iPhone 5. It's horrible. Save yourself 100 dollars and get the iPhone 4S

 

The main flaw I have with the One is that you can't add any more storage. If you happen to crack the screen, taking the phone apart is difficult since nothing in it is actually screwed in, but rather glued/stuck together.

Yea, the 5 doesn't look good. But right now with Sprint (and Bestbuy), you save like 50-100 bucks if you get it. That's the only reason why I'm looking at it.

If it was on my hand i would choose HTC One. Why? It's a pretty "fresh" (new) Smartphone and you can do loads of stuff on it. But this is my opinion. You can choose whatever phone you like.

 

If you get the S4 you know that the next flagship Samsung Galaxy will be the Note 3,however with the iPhone there will be the 5S or whatever it will be called in the autumn and HTC chuck out new phones by the month lol.

 

apple is starting to finally pay the price for their shitty products right now, Apple stock has taken a 40% plunge so far THIS YEAR. What does this mean? support for android is up, and windows phone is starting to come in and earn it's place aswell.

im advising to stay away from iOS products. I'll bet their future is going to be grim unless they start being as intuitive as windows phone has become(it's incredible IMO), or unless they start giving control to the users like android has allowed since day 1(an OS that supports modding?!).

Out of your choices, I'd say the Note 2. the screen is amazing...the hardware is VERY potent(many tests show it outpaces the Nexus 7 tablet in games). Only downside, though, is it really is huge. Quite akward to hold against your face.

You should consider something with windows phone in it...like the new Lumia 920. It takes some getting used to, for sure. But amongst symbian, iOS, and android...it's the best I've used thus far.
