    what do you think of the 75% Rate for a Poll to be successful?

    I absolutely love the way we could choose the next content updates but I dislike how it has to be 75% or more voted Yes for the poll to be successful I feel like 75% is too high and can also not fair I doubt it'll happen but they just reduce to like 60% or maybe 65% but 75%? wayy too high

    I feel like there's too many possible updates and it will end up another screwed up version of Rs.

    I don't think 75% is to high that means 3/4 of the community wants it I think that is a fair number.

    ^This. 75% is good. Meaning small convenient things will get through that pretty much everyone wants. Eg a remove roofs option. There's not going to be any drastic changes coming through (GWD, BH etc) since there will obviously be greater than 25% opposition. A simple yes/no seems like the best way.
    Let's face it, they're doing 07scape pretty right the second time round.

    At this point doesn't look like they are going to add f2p worlds for pking. 70% is good enough imo.

    I don't get why people wouldn't vote yes for f2p pking though. It's not like it affects anything besides some seperate worlds.

    yeah the f2p is cool I don't think its gonna make it though =/ its good for people like me because I loved f2p pking even when I was a member I still used to pk on f2p worlds cause its so simple but so fun

    I think its a good choice :)
    75% means that 3/4 agree to a change of something. While it sounds rather high, its a good thing. If more than 3/4 agree you're pretty sure a lot of people will like it and that you're making progress.

    While I agree that there needs to be a strong majority, 75% is a little extreme in my opinion. For example, there is literally no reason not to vote for the f2p pk worlds. You don't have to use them if you don't want to. Yet, they still might not get the 75% majority needed which is dumb.

    I understand why you'd think this is extreme but really it needs to be like that. A vast majority has to support it something to be updated which I like.

    Yes, exactly. Say for instance they made a GE poll, to see if people wanted the GE back, and a majority of 51% votes yes. Chances are, with such a huge update, that a lot of the other 49% will ditch 07 which Jagex doesn't want. With a 75% pass requirement, they're pretty much safe-guarding the game's player base as well as keeping it enjoyable for most people.

    I don't agree that if 75% of the community should decide, should be at least 85%. At 75% big bot farms can decide the updates themselves to be honest.

    I hope you're kidding. The amount of bots that a few bigger bot farmers might have is nothing close enough to really influence the poll.

    I'm sure there will be over 10k bots, of course they won't do it on their own but it's not like no other players would have the same opinion. These bots would be like 10% which is high enough to help deny an update.
