Nigga be trying too hard, but that's the kinda intensity you want to bring every time you hoop, whether it's an all-star game, a pick up game, or even practice. My high school coach said it the best "you should practice at the same intensity as you are during the game so you can be ready to ball out anytime/anywhere.

If Kobe would defend like that in a game against Lebron, then I'd respect him a little bit more, but yea, you're not supposed to play D in the All Star game, no one is. You just stick out like a sore thumb. Especially when you don't do that in the regular season.
