    Guitar questions

I'll be buying an electric guitar soon and I'd like to know if there is anything specific I should look for when buying a guitar.

This is my first time learning to play and I know nothing about them.

Here is one I found for a decent price, but im not sure if it's good quality or what to look for. Please post some that are good quality or what I should look for when buying my first electric guitar.

Someone told me learning to play acoustic would be better for a beginner but fuck that yolo lele.

The lisiting for the guitar isn't available anymore. What kind was it?

This is the guitar I started out with

it's a pretty good quality axe for just being a beginner guitar. I still have mines and even though it's really fucked up now, I switched out the bridge pickup for a humbucker and it plays really well overall.
A lot of people will say that an acoustic guitar is better for starting out, but imo it doesn't matter that much. Are you going to be taking lessons?

Also keep in mind that when you're starting out, the kind of guitar you have won't make too much of a difference, since you're probably going to be playing pretty basic stuff at first (it's all going to sound pretty similiar no matter which guitar you have). As far as tone and the sound actual sound of the music you'll be playing go, that comes more from the amp. The guitar itself will have more of an effect on your playing style.
