The Walking Dead

Apparently he is much worse in the comics and if they could have made him worse (like child rape) on the TV show it might have been better. Right now he is mainly just crazy.

but yeah he was / still is a crazy motherfucker, especially in the last episode of season three. I think the writers intentionally built him as potentially not being a villain/enemy when he was first introduced because they wanted the audience to believe the talks between Rick and the Governor when they eventually happened and not just see straight through them. Personally, I think they have / are doing a great job scripting and developing the Governor and his role that he plays. Also I think they should have stepped up to somewhat of a level of season 3 finale insanity earlier in the season, but that's just me
He is a decent actor too, for whoever called him out at being a "bad actor."

 

Couldn't agree more, he's just not dynamic or compelling enough right now. There were flashes of brilliance with his character. But like with Shane I was always on edge with his unpredictability, and the fact that he still had this inner conflict with himself about what's wrong and what's right and struggling to find a common ground. The governor just being flat out crazy makes him a little too predictable. And I still just don't find the actor to be all that special, but maybe that's because I really liked Shane & Dale and how they were portrayed...or how Rick is portrayed versus a Governor.

 

Can't wait for season 4, wonder what happeneds with the governor

 

Definitely excited for the fourth season. I can't wait to see tyrese in action.

 

Walking Dead is extremely good, but you should try Breaking Bad too. Its 10000000000x better imo.

 

I would say they are both in my top 3 TV shows atm.

 

It's good but not better than game of thrones!
