Spam Forum being strangled

I'm writing this due to the events in the last hour.

FloydZeppelin made a thread regarding Elena and then later it was deleted. He later made a thread asking where it went http://www.sythe.org/spam-forum/1512906-has-anyone-seen-my-thread.html and yaroow confirmed it was deleted.

It wasn't even that bad, the only thing I can reasonably think of is that Elena got trolled.

If anything Elena brings it upon herself with the whole attention whoring act of writing people's names on paper and writing it down, etc - but that's besides the point.


Later Floyd made another thread http://www.sythe.org/spam-forum/1512912-cliff-notes-about-elena-case-because-you-deserve-know.html where he merely had an opinion, is it wrong to have an opinion?!

In a later thread he cites the rules saying that was his reason for locking the threads and even deleting one of them:

Yet none of the threads were overly derogatory and saying it was overly provocative is a stretch since about every thread regarding Elena has been provocative.

 

It went over the top, Elena felt harassed, won't you when there are 20 threads per day about you? We should just leave her alone, its disgusting to see people do this to other members, newcomers or not.

Exactly. When Virus and Heads were being "harassed" nothing happened in terms of moderator activity. Yet when Elena is being "harassed" shit suddenly gets real in terms of moderator activity.

I feel as if males are being discriminated because there's a female amongst us.
Yet, they bitch and moan about equal pay, jobs, right to vote, etc.

 

She didn't brought it upon herself, people weren't believing it was really her and then she proved them wrong, people didn't stop asking pictures with their names on it, she was harassed.

 

I think Deathsnova deserves an apology if this is the new spam forum standard.

She wrote the names for moderators nobody else even asked for a picture... She made a video of some stupid shit and obviously if you post it in the spam forum it will be trolled, nobodies going to sit there saying "I love your video and your pictures", if a guy posts his picture he's going to get raped in the spam forum by members and moderators maybe admins too (deathsnova)

 

she proved herself done, she could have say no anytime she wanted.

yeah this sums up how far sythe's gone in the shitter.
honestly don't expect anything to be done. site's dying and promoting stupid members to staff isn't helping.

It only takes one appearance to prove yourself, yet she attended pretty much every tiny chat, has made a youtube video and taken a shed load of pictures, and she's lapping the attention up.

 

I also agree with this, been just lurking around the spam forum and what not and seeing everything happen.

Everyone should be treated equally when it comes to being harrassed, if past members weren't protected then new members shouldn't be either.

 

Poor Deathsnova.... He gets pretty much destroyed when he posts a picture of himself, and people go and track down his facebook while showing his private pictures.

Grave VS. R2P ... basically Market War, they both have their websites trolled, staff does close to nothing

People make threads about Elena, she gets special privileges.

If in any way the staff are behind the whole Elena thing, *cough Blondi* .. you probably should give it up now

My thread was one of the only ones that really questioned her at all, actually. 19/20 were threads praising her. Harass my ass.

I also never claimed Elena was a scammer, I simply laid a hypothesis that has to do with a widely used scheme involving e-whoring - It's her that has laid all of the evidence that fits right into the method of this. So what I'm saying isn't intended to be hurtful, and in no way should have even been taken that way.

If you ask me, this is just a way to heed off the attention, but maybe I'm just being silly!

I'm sorry but all of the pieces are fitting so perfectly in this puzzle that it would be irresponsible of me to not raise the question.

My biggest concern is her ties to her cousin. Everyone seems to believe that this means nothing, but it could mean everything.

Maybe they'll remain legit, maybe they're entire purpose is to just literally shoot up in ranks. Whatever their aim is, they're getting it and it's unfair.

She laid the concrete with the introduction thread. It was only a matter of time from there. You have to spark the interest first.

Proved them wrong? So if I claim I'm a girl and get my sister to cam and take pics does that make me a girl or?

 

Aren't you supposed to be allowed to do most of what you want in SF? Obviously some things are still unacceptable, but the thread Floyd made was merely opinion. Dunno why that would be deleted, and even if Elena "brought this on herself" it doesn't mean to continue to do what is clearly wrong if there is something wrong.

 

I doubt the staff are going to do another Blondi, even if they did there is no way they would start it like this.

With Deathsnova, he brings it on himself by intentionally annoying everyone. As for Grave and R2P, all that stuff has died down now, I don't think their websites face any trolling at all these days/

In terms of 'negative threads' and harassment, anything negative, at all about Elena was deleted or closed, while Deathsnova was harassed for weeks and honestly I was really too busy to keep up with it the whole time, but a lot of it has really been worse on him than anything brought up about Elena. And the whole Grave and R2P thing happened, they both were attacked and harassed and little was done.

While with Deathsnova he may have instigated it all, Elena has put herself at the center of attention.

And that's not fair for users or Sythe in general.

That's how accusations of being biased happen.

 

The staff hardly bother with Deathsnova now unless it's something serious.

Again with Grave and R2P - Grave was harassed because he annoyed R2P, and R2P was harassed because he annoyed Grave.

I agree the staff seem way more 'protective' over Elena that other people who have been harassed in the past. They're quick to jump to stuff about Elena but are slow when it's about somebody else. You could even treat this as sexism.
