RS Gold Prices?

So I've been away from Sythe (and Runescape) for a while now, and I'm curious as to why gold prices are ~$.35/m. Is the future of Runescape really so bleak? Is gold simply extremely easy to obtain? :S

 

If you want too look at it that way sure. I think that it should be .02 a mill... it's pixels. But whatevs.

 

Dicing has become enormous, with some huge players in the industry real world trading their profits.
Gold farming is still very possible and if anything just increasing.
In general yes, it has become easier to earn rsgp.

 

The big hit bringing it from 0.45-0.55 to current prices was EoC.
Many people are quitting, so there is a lot of gold being sold now.

This is pretty much a way to gamble underage. People are taking advantage of it.

 

Because of people quitting, items crashing etc, there is more supply than demand. A lot more. Items have crashed that low that a very good combat setup is like 50m. It's a shame.

 

If a game is played by hundreds of thousands of player, in a few years, gold price is going to drop as theres just so much around..

 

Has been said already, but the gambling has made many people extremely rich and they just sell the gp for irl money. Also money making has got a hell of a lot easier over time, and despite jagex's efforts real world trading and botting is still very much living and breathing.

I remember paying $8/per million a good few years ago, now look at it !
