How to get my money back after sending as gift in PP

I got scammed 113 to an impostor of Kevin001 and Daykawmeboo also scammed me 45
His skype display name was the same, I didn't know there was also a skype name.
How would I get my money back? I already filed a dispute, should I call my credit card company?
Daykawmeboo asked for 45 upfront, and after 30 mins of refusing to give me the code for a gc, I filed a dispute, he didn't delete me, but he's refusing to refund me.

 

This happened to me before, i called my credit card company and they told me they couldn't do anything since you don't have any proof (even though its skype chat logs etc).

It must have been a non-virtual seller.

Sorry for the loss, that sucks . I lost over $400 to this, but got it all back, paypal should take care of your claim, and hopefully it'll work out.

 

You can chargeback money. I'm not sure how because I don't use PP ask someone else.

 

Call your bank, and explain the situation. In the future always request a pm. I have personally dealt with Kevin001, and he is more then polite, and will always pm for verification.

 

Calling cc/bank won't do anything in the situation, it was through PAYPAL, and they will deal with it.

Had this personally happen to me, and it didn't work out when i called them :\

 

Yeah, bank said that paypal will work it out, paypal won't unless someone else used your account to send the gift.

 

Usually if the PP account has been charged back on before or is a not verified account or a new account you will usually win your dispute.

Btw if you PP is verified you will most likely get it back.

 

Only way to reverse a gift is to file an unauthorized claim unless something has changed recently.

Thats clearly not my skype name either if you'd like to speak to people i actually HAVE traded with. Watch who you trade with and who they claim they are.
