I want to make a new account because i saw that a cool name i wanted was available. I am pretty new, so i figured it would be a big deal. The accounts would never interact, in fact the other could be deleted if need be. When i tried to make the account it said on the page "if this is a legitimate account change please post a thread in the dispute forum."
-thanks

Just make a new account on a proxy, and never use this one again. The accounts can NEVER interact, though.
