Need advice

I've been dating this girl for 6 months. I'm in college now and we live 7 hours apart. My brother was actually dating one of her best friends and well they were planning to come up this weekend to surprise us and watch us play our soccer game. My brother broke up with his girlfriend today and well it was just bad timing really. Anyways, my girlfriend said she isn't coming up since her friend isn't. "I don't want to leave my friend". Idk why but this bugs me. I know if we switched positions I would still in a heart beat come up and visit her... Anyways this hurts. Any advice haha?

well she doesnt wanna come 7 hours away by herself, make the initiative to go see her after your game or something.

It's not that easy for me. I am a student athlete in college. I have 0 time in season. She told me that she had been planning this for 2 months. I feel like if it was planned for that long than you should stick with it..

Definitely not financial aid. I don't want to explain why I know this but I just do. Her parents were actually going to take her up.

Ok with all other options exhausted, im going to go with 2 more.


1. she just plain out doesnt want to go without her friend.
(So the trip wasn't really important to her for you)

2. Your Relationship is taking a dramatic turn, And you need to both talk about it, (Go Easy)
6 months isnt that long, and you still have time to get out of it, and focus on what is the most important thing in your life.

Or something just didnt set right with her. (Didn't Want to piss friend off by going)

Doesnt mean your out of luck, just means there is something that needs to be worked out. try talking to her. Then start elsewhere, that is first, and foremost. if you feel that something is not going to workout, back out now. dongt try to hold on to it, and get to a year, or two, or three, and really have your feelings hurt, while you are going uphill as an athlete and then spiral down
