Get last minute botting in before Botany Bay?

Anyone else trying to suicide bot those last few skills up before botany bay? After it's release I'm definitely going to stop and see what happens with the ban system.

Well they said in the stream that once you get caught for botting, you get banned for 7 days, then if you get caught again you're banned for 14 days, if caught once again then it's perm. So yeah just keep botting .

Mod Mark never mentioned any number when talking about the temp bans. He simply said that accounts caught botting will first have a temporary ban, and then if caught again, "a much longer temporary ban." Never was any specific number mentioned.


Anyway, back on topic, no need to "panic bot" before the update. I plan to do exactly what I did when the first Bot Nuke was announced last year: bot just like normal every day until the update... and then keep botting on the day of the update and every day afterwards until I get the other 11 99's I'm missing. If you're worried about the update then you're not using the right software

 

The numbers going around are numbers mentioned by p-mods.

Not concrete obviously, but not as bad as wild speculation.

 

If i had to take a guess, i would say that the "longer temp ban" is that 12 year countdown meter untill your unbanned.

 

Atm botting fishing, almost suiciding it, hopefully getting 99 before the update happens.

 

I wouldn't take a P Mod's claim seriously. Even some J Mods made claims about Optimus and other senior J Mods pointed out that the other mods were wrong and their info was based off of nothing. I'll take claims from senior J Mods or official BTS videos and posts on the RS homepage.

Yeah forgive me if I don't believe P Mods as they do not work for Jagex. Basically though, I think anyone completely suiciding is not that smart. Did anyone stop to think that perhaps they are actually monitoring peoples increase in activity just before an update like this? The best thing to do would be a slight increase in activity, but nothing unrealistic. Keep it as close to what you would normally do as possible.

 

I'm suicide botting dung and combat on some accounts. Hoping to have one of the accounts maxed melee before the bot update. Going hard atm .

 

Even after Botany Bay I will be suicide botting.

Currently 99 str and magic, going for range.

Afterwards I'll probably sell the account, pretty bored of RS and it just wastes my time.

 

I might bot regardless of botany bay, with moderation, of course.

Does anyone know more about the banning system they are implementing? Will they be adding rollbacks to the first and/or second temporary ban?

I'm currently botting Hunter on my account I bought. It's at level 96, and I'm hoping to get 99 within these next 3 days. I'm at 40% until 97. Good luck to you guys, and I hope you guys don't get banned before the update. I'm suicide botting btw.

 

They only mentioned that they will be temporary banning. They did not say for how long and they did not mention rollbacks or any other thing. Time will tell however, I wouldn't put it past Jagex to up the stakes further when they notice most people don't care about Botany Bay and will continue to bot.

 

Suicide bot till the update and then suicide bot after the update.. you won't get permed the first time so no worries
