Quick Question

Is there anything i could do to increase memory of my computer so mincraft dosnt lag, i have 7gig ram and a i7 proccesor, but i lag on my server...?

 

You definitely shouldn't be lagging with those kind of specs, but it can be effected by other factors as well. Are you running other programs in the background? Try closing out as many things as you can before you play. Another more obvious one would be to play on low graphics. If none of that works it might be your internet connection (if you're playing multiplayer), or the server itself might be having issues (again if you're playing multiplayer).

It allows you to allocate more RAM to Minecraft. Not sure if it 100% works but it's got some good comments and likes so I guess it does
I tried it before when I used to play Minecraft and if you press f4 or whatever it is in Minecraft to see how much RAM you're using it makes it so it uses more RAM
