F2P Pking

I would keep the prayer level low as long as you are f2p pking. You can't use prayer pots and 47 prayer isn't going to last you long in a fight, not really worth the combat levels.

 

It lasts quite a long time for me, at least one per fight. Works wonders...

 

Personally, I would wait after EOC since everything is going to change anyways.

However, If nothing were to change I would gain 44 prayer for f2p p'king

I'm thinking of keeping it 1 prayer until the final release of the combat update. However, I have heard that prayer and attack levels don't affect combat in the new system?

Its confirmed that summoning and prayer will have NO impact on combat levels in the EoC, so if keeping it f2p i suggest getting 44 prayer. Really handy for when you finish a fight and a bunch of people try pjing you but you have overheads
