Why are they not lendable?
It's kinda not fair.

Another question is, any idea about the prices of these?

I have a feeling that when beta comes out arcane will go up in price.
Since Diving/Elys/Arcane will have similar effects except Divine will be for melee, Elys for rangers, and Arcane for mages.

Knowing this, do you think arcane prices will go up or fall?

I have been thinking of getting the Arcane, but I cant afford it yet.
But when I do, is it worth to buy? I just dont want to lose too much money, you know?

IMO Arcane will rise, it will be extremely usefull for say corp, and many other things. It's already risen a lot since the discovery of the new effects, when the rework actually is released properly god knows what it will reach when everyone wants one.

As for them being lendable, i think they are not lendable for the same reason things like overloads are not tradeable, for exclusivity/the mere fact you need to work for some things yourself.

Arcane's have already rose a HUGE amount, they went from what? 25m to 65m in a matter of 6 days? That's insane, and the beta isn't even live yet.

As for the lendable part; how fair would it be if a low level noob was carrying around a divine because he got a lend? How fair would it be if every noob at Nex or Bandos has a divine because they got a lend from someone in w2 selling lends? Everything would drop even more than it has because it would be more easy.

Shields seem to be more viable to the tanking class of rs which I think they are making for mages, rangers, and melee, I wouldn't be surprised if they release powerful 2h staffs for mages who prefer to output damage rather than tank. Nothing can be said yet though but if this EoC is a move towards other MMOs then I'm sure they will release stronger 2h weapons or better off hands for mages.

Hmm yeah as said above i think spirit shields will be best for PvM Tanking though, not PvP, and the 2H/Off-hand weapons will be better for PvP.

Yeah they've done that I think, 2h weapons = 150% damage and staffs half the casting time allowing for double damage.

As ting stated, they are a lot more desirable for pvm situations, not pvp.

well with tanking, taunting, and damage reduction abilities being added it would imply they will be adding stronger bosses where there are 1-2 tanks and several dps where the tanks would absorb major damage and the dps would be outputting damage towards the raid boss.

Ok, I can understand low lvls having the shield but even with it, I still dont think they would be able to last in Corp or Nex without having skills past 90+, even with the effects.

Im thinking of getting one then. Ill be able to afford in maybe a week. Hopefully it will drop some more, as so far its droped around 2-3m.
