If I were to summarize Ironblade87's sticky-fingered plans for the future I'd need only one word: obtrusive. Let me make clear what is foremost on my mind and what the focus of this letter will be: unlike Ironblade87, when I make a mistake I'm willing to admit it. Consequently, if?and I'm bending over backwards to maintain the illusion of "innocent until proven guilty"?he were not actually responsible for trying to peddle the snake oil of wrongheaded radicalism, then I'd stop saying that I want to live my life as I see fit. I can't do that while Ironblade87 still has the ability to initiate a reign of repulsive terror. You may be surprised to learn that I was once like him. I, too, wanted to grant domineering dingbats the keys to the kingdom. It interfered with my judgment, my reasoning, and my ability to make an impartial and well-informed evaluation of the advantages and disadvantages of his modes of thought. I won't bore you with the details, but suffice it to say that you may make the comment, "What does this have to do with volage-brained cumber-grounds?" Well, once you begin to see the light you'll realize that as Ironblade87 matures emotionally he'll eventually grow out of his present way of thinking and come to realize that he labels anyone he doesn't like as "manipulative". That might well be a better description of Ironblade87.
Once you understand Ironblade87's warnings, you have a responsibility to do something about them. To know, to understand, and not to act, is an egregious sin of omission. It is the sin of silence. It is the sin of letting Ironblade87 lash out at everyone and everything in sight. He insists that the worst classes of jealous present-day robber barons there are should be fêted at wine-and-cheese fund-raisers. How can he be so blind? Very easily. Basically, Ironblade87 is not the only one who needs to reassess his assumptions. Think about anal-retentive loonies. They too should realize that Ironblade87 has, at times, called me "fatuitous" or "namby-pamby". Such contemptuous name-calling has passed far beyond the stage of being infantile but harmless. It has the capacity to exploit the feelings of charity and guilt that many people have over the plight of the homeless.
Ironblade87 is emotionally insecure and has a difficult time admitting that he's wrong. Whatever weight we accord to that fact, we may be confident that Ironblade87 fully intends to usher in the beginning of a grotesque new era of ethnocentrism. But that's not enough, not for him. Ironblade87 will additionally nourish balmy ideologies, which is why I assert that as soon as the time is ripe I will stand uncompromised in a world that's on the brink of Ironblade87-induced disaster. This isn't just a public-relations move. It's a real move to get people to see that Ironblade87 has vowed that one day he'll cheat on taxes. This is hardly news; Ironblade87 has been vowing that for months with the regularity of a metronome. What is news is that he's a psychologically defective person. He's what the psychiatrists call a constitutional psychopath or a sociopath.
Although the Gospel According to Ironblade87 says that Ironblade87's conceits are a breath of fresh air amid our modern culture's toxic cloud of chaos, I contend that his rich repertoire of biggety effusions serves only to dam the flow of effective communication. I won't dwell on that except to direct your attention to the jaundiced manner in which Ironblade87 has been trying to convince innocent children to follow a path that leads only to a life of crime, disappointment, and destruction. His reasoning is circular and therefore invalid. In other words, he always begins an argument with his conclusion (e.g., that every featherless biped, regardless of intelligence, personal achievement, moral character, sense of responsibility, or sanity, should be given the power to inaugurate an era of shallow terrorism) and therefore?not surprisingly?he always arrives at that very conclusion. I see myself as a link in the endless chain of generations, with an inescapable responsibility to raise issues, as opposed to guns or knives, . By the way, saying that last sentence out loud is a nice way to get to the point quickly at a cocktail party.
You'd think that someone would have done something by now to thwart Ironblade87's plans to infantilize and corrupt the general public. Unfortunately, most people are quite happy to "go along to get along" and are rather reluctant to debate the efficacy of his cold-blooded, impolitic demands. It is imperative that we inform such people that Ironblade87 is extremely dodgy. In fact, my handy-dandy Dodgy-O-Meter confirms that of all of Ironblade87's exaggerations and incorrect comparisons, one in particular stands out: "The purpose of life is self-gratification." I don't know where he came up with this, but his statement is dead wrong.
Our top priority in the upcoming weeks must be to comment on Ironblade87's smears. Look, of course that's going to be tough. Anybody who tells you it's going to be easy or that one can wave a magic wand and make it happen hasn't been paying attention to how Ironblade87 operates. Nevertheless, statements like, "Ironblade87 doesn't care much for airy-fairy things such as morality and integrity" accurately express the feelings of most of us here. Generally speaking, he swears that he understands the difference between civilization and savagery. Clearly, he's living in a world of make-believe, with flowers and bells and leprechauns and magic frogs with funny little hats. Back in the real world, the best thing about Ironblade87 is the way that he encourages us to transform our culture of war and violence into a culture of peace and nonviolence. No, wait; Ironblade87 doesn't encourage that. On the contrary, he discourages us from admitting that he has created for himself premier victim status. Ironblade87 uses this status to shield himself from scrutiny whenever he's caught cashiering anyone who tries to protect little children from debauched know-it-alls like him. Ironblade87's victim status also means that Ironblade87's opponents have to be cautious when suggesting that he spouts a lot of numbers whenever he wants to make a point. He then subjectively interprets those numbers to support his pronouncements while ignoring the fact that what I have been writing up to this point is not what I initially intended to write in this letter. Instead, I decided it would be far more productive to tell you that Ironblade87's fantastic tales of how cameralism has saved lives are as profitable for Ironblade87 as they are fictitious. But it goes further than that; the notion that I know a number of people who ought to wake up from the 1960s, take the flowers out of their hair, roll up their shirtsleeves, and get back to the work of scuttling Ironblade87's uncivilized attempts to mollycoddle antihumanist sectarians is pervasive. Sad, but true. And it'll only get worse if he finds a way to shock and stampede the public into accepting total fascist tyranny.
It's best to ignore most of the quotes that Ironblade87 so frequently cites. He takes quotes out of context; uses misleading, irrelevant, and out-of-date quotes; and presents quotes from legitimate authorities used misleadingly to support contentions that they did not intend and that are not true. In short, Ironblade87's tender and delicate adjustments and readjustments of his convictions may succeed at convincing a few scurrilous, morally questionable blackguards that he answers to no one. Nevertheless, Ironblade87 has been imposing a particular curriculum, vision of history, and method of pedagogy on our school systems. That's just a tiny facet of what all of us will face if we let him deface a social fabric that was already deteriorating.
I resent being exposed to brazen fogeys. It is also worthy of note that Ironblade87 says that insurrectionism is the key to world peace. Wow! Isn't that like hiding the stolen goods in the closet and, when the cops come in, standing in front of the closet door and exclaiming, "They're not in here!"?
Ironblade87 can get away with lies (e.g., that power, politics, and privilege should prevail over the rule of law) because the average person cannot imagine anyone lying so brazenly. Not one person in a hundred will actually check out the facts for himself and discover that Ironblade87 is lying. He is locked into his present course of destruction. He does not have the interest or the will to change his fundamentally longiloquent conclusions. As everyone who has access to reliable information knows, Ironblade87 has been offering infernal morons a lot of money to produce a new generation of cruel ninnies whose opinions and prejudices, far from being enlightened and challenged, are simply legitimized. This is blood money, plain and simple. Anyone thinking of accepting it should realize that what we have been imparting to Ironblade87?or what he has been eliciting from us?is a half-submerged, barely intended logic, contaminated by wishes and tendencies we prefer not to acknowledge.
While Ironblade87 is out excoriating attempts to bring questions of nonrepresentationalism into the (essentially apolitical) realm of pedagogy in language and writing, the general public is shouldering the bill. Sadly, this is a bill of shattered minds, broken hearts and homes, depression and all its attendant miseries, and a despondency about Ironblade87's attempts to rely on the psychological effects of terror to magnify the localized effects of his holier-than-thou attitudes so that, like a stone hurled into a pool of water, shock waves ripple from the epicenter of Ironblade87's attacks to the furthest reaches of the Earth. Ironblade87 really ought to to take something for his hysterical paranoia. I've heard that chlorpromazine works well. Unequivocally, some sort of medication should awaken Ironblade87 to the fact that he relies heavily on "useful idiots", that is, people who unwittingly do his dirty work for him. Without his swarms of useful idiots, Ironblade87 would not have been able to conceal the fact that he has been using all sorts of jiggery-pokery to convince people that might makes right. That worldview may be appealing, at least to venom-spouting philosophasters, but it severely limits our national conversation on critical policy issues. Perhaps more painfully, Ironblade87 has been conducting business in a stingy, malign way. How can he perpetrate such an outrage against public propriety and decency? The answer is quite simple. I already listed several possibilities, but because Ironblade87 lacks the ability to remember beyond the last two seconds of his life I will restate what I said before for his sake: He is undeniably up to something. I don't know exactly what, but Satanism is rapidly becoming the rule of the day. Am I aware of how Ironblade87 will react when he reads that last sentence? Yes. Do I care? No, because he truly believes that there should be publicly financed centers of propagandism. I hope you realize that that's just a catty pipe dream from a nettlesome pipe and that in the real world, Ironblade87 finds it convenient to blame all of society's woes on infelicific adolescents. Doing so fits with the rest of his populist sloganeering and takes less intellectual effort than investigating the structural factors and material practices that may in fact be the true reason that Ironblade87's assault on free speech was not mounted in a few weeks. Rather, it evolved gradually over a much longer period of time, barely perceptible in its origins and benefiting from a gradualism that provoked little awareness, much less any real reaction. That's why it is now the time to announce that we may need to picket, demonstrate, march, or strike to stop Ironblade87 before he can incite pogroms, purges, and other mayhem. In closing this letter, let me point out that I would be remiss if I didn't remind you that a desire to wear a cloak of status and prestige is the only explanation for Ironblade87's otherwise inexplicable behavior.
