How does one go about doing so at this point in time? Haven't paid attention to this kind of thing in quite a while.

I looked all through their site but all I could find was this shitty advice:

Send an email to [email protected], including all the non-password evidence you that will prove ownership.

I don't remember what the e-mail was, but you can email I think [email protected] or something like that and act like an angry parent. Usually with that, they'll be able to send a manual recovery form for you to use. Just claim that your account may have been stolen, and that someone has set an e-mail on it that you do not recognize. If that doesn't work, I don't know what will.

If you don't have the email or someone has registered one on your account your best option is "[email protected]" it is the fastest replying system because it is the most universal staff position (every mod is active in it).

If your account is a member you will get it back within 3 days, assuming you'be provided the proper details.

Non members usually get their accounts back in 5-7 days.

If you need a lock, you can make a new account and post on forums telling them to lock your account.

In your email tell them you have no history of the email and need it removed, include your recovery questions, date creted, ISP, IP, membership, etc, etc.
