People do buy certain rare yugioh cards. They pay quite well too if you have the right cards.

Secret rares can be worth a bit. It's not necessarily the cards that are valuable, it's where they came from.

Some cards are worth a shitload. The real question is do you have the mental capacity to go find which ones are worth more than a cent.

You just go to a store and they'll tell you.

No card is worth anywhere near $100. Yu Gi Oh cards, Magic: The Gathering cards, Pokemon cards, WoW cards (etc) all sell not out of rarity (thought that is a factor) but out of how good they are. The major audience for trading cards nowadays are those who grew up with them, so the 90s generation. Since trading is only part of it, most of the collectors who traded when they were younger now play for sport, so getting better cards is more of a priority over rarity which is why they sell more.
