Question about buying gold

[applecider148]

I've never bought RS gold/items before in this way, I was wondering if anyone could give me any unbiased info towards the punishments for this. What is the likelihood of getting caught? What is the most likely punishment if you are caught? Can you get perma banned for one infraction? Thanks.

Your asking if jagex will or can ban you for buying gold?Gold is not the only thing you can get banned for real-world trading is the term used for activities which occur outside of the game environment which result in the real-world sale or purchase of items, gp or services with the intention of supplying or advancing a Jagex in-game character other than by the means which are incorporated into the game. The answer is yes they can do anything to your account that they please. When you make your account you agree to their T.O.S. Any attempt to real world trade is a serious breach of the player’s agreement with Jagex. You can be temp banned, or perm it all depends on how serious they see it.

Yes you can get banned for buying gold and such but that is pretty rare because the only way jagex will catch you doing this if you you trade/transfer over 500-1bil a day and in rare cases you will get caught on your first trade. I myself have traded over 500mil+ and never been caught but i take like 1 month to 2 months before i buy/sell anymore.

You can get banned for buying gold, You'll get caught if your trading or selling up to like 800M a day that would be Dodgy to JaGeX..

If you make a trade above something like 100m with "Absolutely Nothing" in your trade then it may arouse suspicion. The best thing to do for gold buying is to trade in increments over more than 1 day- however that is only if you are buying 500m+ in one day. It also helps to trade junk items as to not seem like you are blatantly RWTing
