My investment works like so;

You invest $10, a month later you get $12 back.

Yes a month is a long time to wait for $2 but if you think about it, you're investing $10 and you have to do nothing so a month later you can get an extra $2 + your $10 which you invested.

Now if you have an extra $2 you can invest that in to so at the end of that month you can get $14.40 back, as you can see the money is rising each time you invest more so imagine you invested $100, lets do the math.

6% of $100 = 6 x 20 = $120.

That's an extra $20, think of what you could be making after you invest $100 each month from the beginning of the year. Lets do the math.

January you invest $100, at the end of the month you get $120.
February you invest $120, at the end of the month you get $144.
March you invest $144, at the end of the month you get $172.80.
April you invest $172, at the end of the month you get $206.40.
May you invest $206, at the end of the month you get $247.60.
June you invest $247, at the end of the month you get $296.40.
July you invest $296, at the end of the month you get $355.50.
August you invest $355, at the end of the month you get $426.
September you invest $426, at the end of the month you get $511.60.
October you invest $511, at the end of the month you get $613.20.
November you invest $613, at the end of the month you get $747.60.
And by the end of the year if you invested $747, you would get $896.40.

Now start a new year beginning with $896 and start your math.

As you can see this takes time but doesn't everything?
