So bulk resellers who are selling this gp aswell should also be accountable for their customers being wiped? Every1 knows about duped gp its stupid to twc one person because he sold it lower than the rest.

There is a huge difference between resellers aware of the glitch buying massive, cheap quantities of the gold and unsuspecting people buying it from the resellers and getting wiped/banned because they didn't know. There should be at least some kind of warning until all of this blows over.

 

I think its different because (and this is in NO Way attacking just un dude) with bulk re-sellers, the gold is not being sold from an account who was involved in the duping itself/an account under the IP of an owner of someone who was say running bots for the dupe.

Also, the gp bulk buyers/sellers have isn't all duped, which in this situation I think its being claimed that this gold is being sold directly from accounts involved in the dupe/which duped themselves and all of the money is from the dupe. Also, if this money is involved with the dupes and its been prooven that Jagex is taking action against duped gp and a user lies about the gp being from the dupe, then that might be where a TwC becomes more understandable.

Again, I'm not saying anything I just said is true, its just hypotheticals.I think its probably going to be reviewed in the staff lounge if it hasn't already and it'll go from there.

Lastly, does anyone have an answered report or dispute regarding the situation?

PS. I think staff is going to cut conversation about this on this thread, similar to cases in the past where its been said that this sort of dicussion shouldn't occur here, sorry if this post shouldn't have been made.

 

@bsgp, the cash I was selling was in no way generated by the crucible dupe glitch, and neither was I trading gold from any accounts involved in this, they were already locked at the time. I've already appealed my TwC as I don't see a good reason for it.

But yeah let's get back on topic I suppose.

Anyways we never got the full info about the db leak. I think the story ended up being that the db leak never actually happened but was a ruse for a series of MSN hackings due to an exploit in the @hotmail.com extension recovery thing.

 

Pen's account was not compromised, it was him.
