Can't find a exact report that got him banned; theres so threads that say suggest he scammed but I am inconclusive.

Did I just dodged a critical bullet ? Was about to make a deal approx 300 usd to sell my uk gift cards but when I was trying to check up on stuff. I saw that his account was banned.

Anyone knew ?

Pen scamming the Blue Party Hat is one of the saddest and most pathetic scams in Sythe history. The guy devoted well over 1,000 hours of his life to Sythe and keeping the site clean. He was one of the most active staff members from when I joined in 2007 right up until early 2011, when he was a long-serving Admin. So literally, four years of the man's life were given to this site. And what does he do? He scams a Blue mothafuckin Party Hat from a member. At the time, the trade was valued at under $1500.

 

Poses the question if it was him? I'm not sure of his activity or contribution, wasn't around when I was, but going by what you said, his email may have been hacked, and then Sythe account recovered. I remember that happening to a few Sythe accounts with reputable status/ex-staff/known around the market when that hotmail exploit was around 6-12 months ago. Seems inactive accounts were targeted as it would be easier to pull something of.

 

I agree with this, I don't see how this guy could do that. If he was active for so long and then just went inactive I believe his account must of got recovered

 

Actually another scam report popped up a few weeks later going on about how Pen owed money to a few people on here too.

No, it was really him. When I spoke to him he said things only Pen would know/say.

 

I'd say its a toss up between pen and Nate. What no1 talks about is the fact that pen was demoted and wasnt seen for months afterwards. he came back to harm the site and steal some loot using his reputation. It was deffinately Pen all along.

 

Since no1 answered any of these earlier ill ask again.
